TRENTON – Governor Jon S. Corzine today signed the following bills into law:

S-632/A-2329 (Van Drew, Madden/Milam, Albano) – Designates Route 9 in Cape May County as “Police Unity Tour Memorial Highway.”

S-1390/ACS for A-1796 (Van Drew, T. Kean/Albano, Milam) – Revises statutes concerning abandoned vessels to include sunken vessels; authorizes certain entities to remove abandoned vessels.

S-1696/A-2708 (Buono, Adler/Conaway, Love, Munoz, Ramos) – Requires DHS to verify income of applicants for Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare with Department of the Treasury records.

A-1559/S-1788 (Greenstein, DeAngelo, Gusciora, Rodriquez/Singer, Smith) – Authorizes municipal planning boards to adopt green buildings and environmental sustainability municipal master plan element.

A-2147/S-1547 (Burzichelli, Bramnick/Sarlo) – Removes maximum price limitation for sale of certain tickets of admission to places of entertainment.

A-2440/S-656 (Pou, Evans/Sarlo) – Permits qualified trustee to hold interest in alcoholic beverage license for qualified beneficiary under age 18.
