TRENTON – Governor Jon S. Corzine today signed the following bills into law:

S-218/A-553 (Singer, Oroho/Dancer, Fisher, McHose, Chiusano, Albano) – Provides for promotion and sale of “Jersey Fresh” and other NJ agricultural or horticultural products at service areas along certain toll roads

S-1430/A-1949 (Cardinale, Weinberg/Vandervalk, Johnson) – Renames the “police court of the Palisades Interstate park” as “Court of Palisades Interstate Park”

S-1493/A-210 (Lance, Bucco/Johnson, Bramnick) – Expands State law enforcement powers of United States Park Police

A-2183/S-1218 (Schaer, Munoz, Watson Coleman/Weinberg, Gordon) – Provides that nursing home resident has right to receive food that meets resident’s religious dietary requirement

A-2254 (Giblin, Evan) – Repeals the designation of New Jersey Route No. 23 as “Robert A. Roe Highway

A-2466/S-229 (Prieto, Giblin, Rodriguez/Lesniak, Scutari) – Allows certified public accountants licensed in other states to practice public accountancy and attest services in this State under certain circumstances
