Mission of the Office of Transitional Services

To enhance public safety by reducing the risk that offenders will re-offend and return to prison by providing comprehensive services from the time they enter prison through their reintegration back into society.

Mission of the Social Services Departments

To provide case management services that facilitate the development of social skills and pro-social values, and to help to empower all inmates with the tools necessary to function as law abiding citizens when they return to society. The Social Services Department endeavors to apply the body of knowledge and experience in the profession of social work in a practical, ethical and responsible manner.
